Except for a couple of short trips to London and Germany, Maurice de Vlaminck spent his entire life in France. He started painting around 1894 and died in 1958, a period during which printing was well developed. The fact he lived only in France and during a period rich in documentation, facilitates researching and authenticating his works.
We perform nearly all our Vlaminck research in Paris, where we have two highly educated art historians and researchers.
It is rare for works by Vlaminck to require scientific testing and it saves time and expenses.
Generally, a Vlaminck authentication can be completed within 14 days.
Naturally, we certify and issue certificates of authenticity (COA) for all the paintings by Maurice de Vlaminck that we confirm are authentic.
